This is the last Will and Testament of me
Thomas Whitfield of Robin Gate in the Parish of Grinton and
County of York Miner
I give and bequeath to my son William Whitfield his heirs
and assigns All that my Copyhold Estate situate at Robin Gate
where I now live and two Cattle Gates in Kearton Pasture with
all the rights and appurtenances thereunto belonging
Also all my Farming Stock and Husbandry Gear whatsoever subject
however to the payment of Seventy pounds each which I give
to my three daughters to be paid immediately after my Wifes
decease namely Hannah the Wife of Edmund Dinsdale Sarah the
Wife [of] J.W. Wallis and Elizabeth Whitfield their heirs
and assigns
I also order and direct my son William Whitfield to pay all
my just debts Funeral and Testamentary expenses And I give
to my dear Wife Margaret Whitfield all my Household Furniture
whatsoever for her own absolute use I also direct and authorize
my hereinafter named Executors to pay to my said Wife Margaret
Whitifeld all the Interests of my real and personal estate
for and during the term of her natural life
And I do hereby appoint Thomas Brown of Blades Mason and Joseph
Smith of Reeth Draper both in the said Parish of Grinton and
County of York the Executors of this my Will I do declare
this only to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of December One
thousand eight hundred and seventy
