Waggett, Ralph of Dikeheads
 
This is the last Will and Testament of me Ralph Waggett of Dikeheads near Gunnerside in the Township of Melbecks Parish of Grinton and North Riding of the County of York made this tenth day of May One thousand eight hundred and eighty one

I give devise and bequeath to my son George Waggett his heirs or assigns the whole of my Copyhold property situated in the Township of Muker Nevertheless subject to the payments of Twelve Pound [sic] which I give devise and bequeath to my Wife to be paid yearly during the period of her natural life

also to [my] son Christopher Waggett his heirs or assigns the sum [of] One pound ten shillings per annum during the life of my wife

and also to my daughter Mary Elenor Waggett her heirs or assigns the sum of One pound ten shillings per annum during the life of my Wife and

also to my daughter Margaret Ann Rutter her heirs or assigns the sum of One pound ten shillings per annum during the life of my Wife Then after the death of my Wife all the before named annuities shall cease and my son George Waggett shall then pay to my son Christopher Waggett his heirs or assigns the sum of One hundred and fifty pound [sic] also to my daughter Mary Elenor Waggett her heirs or assigns the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds and also to my daughter Margaret Ann Rutter her heirs or assigns the sum of One hundred and fifty pound [sic]

And I hereby order and direct my Executor and Executrix hereinafter named to sell all my Personal property with the exception of my sheep which shall be valued to my son George Waggett by two men one chosen by [my] son George Waggett and the other chosen by my daughter Mary Elenor Waggett and all moneys arising from the sale of all my personal property and also from the value of the sheep to be disposed of as hereinafter directed

I give devise and bequeath to my son George Waggett his heirs or assigns the sum of Thirty pound [sic] I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Elenor Waggett her heirs or assigns the sum of Ten pound [sic] and after the before named Legacies with all my just debts Funeral and Testamentary expenses is paid the residue or remaining sum of money to be equally divided amongst my four before named children their heirs or assigns share and share alike

And I appoint my son George Waggett and my daughter Mary Elenor Waggett both residing with me my Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament made this tenth day of May One thousand eight hundred and eighty one
