This is the last Will and Testament of me
Joseph Taylor of High Whitaside in the Parish of Grinton in
the County of York
I give and bequeath to my Sister Elizabeth Taylor her heirs
executors and administrators for her and their absolute use
and benefit my Copyhold house and garden with the appurtenances
situate and being at or within the territories of Feetham
in the Manor of Healaugh and in the Parish of Grinton aforesaid
and also my two freehold houses with their gardens and appurtenances
situate at Low Row in the Township of Melbecks in the Parish
of Grinton aforesaid and commonly known by the name of "Poor's
Houses" [?]
And I hereby further direct that all my just debts funeral
and testamentary expenses shall be paid out of my remaining
property such as farm Stock utensils and Household furniture
and the residue or remainder of all such my personal property
of every kind after the aforesaid debts and expenses are paid
I hereby give and bequeath to my Brother Edward Taylor of
Snaizholme near Hawes in Wensleydale in the County of York
his heirs executors and administrators for his and their use
and benefit absolutely And I hereby appoint the said Edward
Taylor and John Coates of High Whitaside aforesaid to be Executors
of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my
hand this fifth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand
eight hundred and eighty six

Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence
and at his request and in the presence of each other all
being present at the same time attest and subscribe our
names as witnesses hereto
