Butson, Francis Garth of Thwaite
 
This is the last Will and Testament of Francis Garth Butson of Thwaite in the parish of Grinton in the North Riding of the County of York

I give one Bedstead Bed and Bedding and all my Farming Implements and Husbandry Gears to my son William Milner Butson

All other my Household goods Furniture Dairy Utensils Cheese Press Crokery [sic] China and Glass I give to my Daughters Elizabeth Butson and Margaret Isabella Butson

I also further give and devise to them my two Daughters aforesaid their Heirs and Assigns for ever the Dewllinghouse in which I now reside with the stable and all other Appurtenances belonging thereto

I give and Devise all my Joiners Shops Cart House Joiners Tools Wood Lathes and other Stock in Trade to my Two Sons Francis Garth Butson and William Milner Butson to them their heirs and assigns for ever

All other the Residue of my Real or personal estate whatever I give Devise and bequeath to my son William Milner Butson his heirs and Assigns for ever In Trust to sell the same and collect all monies due to me or arising therefrom and after payment of all my just debts and Testamentary Expenses at the end of one year from my decease to pay the sum of Ten pounds to my son Thomas Butson Five pounds to the use and benefit of my Two Grandchildren children of my late son John Metcalfe Butson and then to divide the Residue and any reversion at any time hereafter arising from my real or personal estate in equal shares amongst my said Son William Milner Butson and my Daughters Elizabeth Butson and Margaret Isabella Butson and

I appoint my said son William Milner Butson Executor of this my will In witness whereof I the said Francis Garth Butson the Testator have to this my last will and Testament subscribed my name this third day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty eight
