Arrived safe
& sound, about eight o'clock. It was just six o'clock when
I got to Askrigg so I thought I might as well walk through rather
than wait for the train. But I was tired though when I got home

Thanks for p.c. received on Sun. We have not had a bill from
Gunnerside yet, but the minister gave a short notice out on
Sun about the organ opening. He had seen a bill at Carperby
& he thought my father had to preside & gave it out
so, also he said it was ?
T. William and Uncle Joe just went on Saturday

Your p.c. to
hand. I rather like those postcards. They are a nice change.
I never bother much about collecting now. The craze is over.
It just has its time, like everything else.

Glad to hear from you, but was sorry to learn you were not so
well. We have had lively stirs this election. I was at a social
last night & enjoyed it very much. I have not been at Middlesborough. |
