If anyone has any information regarding the above family in particular my grandparents, great (or even great great) grandparents i would be so delighted. They lived in the area as far as I Know from the 1800-1930's

Have you checked the Archives and under the heading WILLS on this site ?
They have the name peacock mentioned in several wills.
Have you searched the Church of Later Day Saints - family search - a very useful site.

Good luck

Peacocks & Calverts

Postby MAB » Tue Jan 25, 2005 12:02 am

I have the above, although a couple of generations apart.
Mary Ann Peacock married a James Percival, who in turn had two children who married Calverts. David & William.
In my husband's tree there is also a Dorothy Calvert born Muker.
Any Luck?
There seem to be lots of Calverts about to confuse us!

MAB Have you any dates at all to go with your info. I am from a Calvert/Metcalfe/Raw line but also have Peacock on my tree. I have a fair bit of data and would be happy to look through it if you could give a bit more information.

Mary Ann Peacock married James Percival 7th March 1950. Mary Ann was sister to my great grandmother. Nanny Peacock.
Mary Ann & James had a daughter Ann Born 1855 who married David Calvert in 1876.
Another daughter Mary married William John Calvert in 1886.
My Raw link is through my Grandmother, Nanny Buxton's sister, another Mary Ann who married Robert Raw in 1902 in liverpool. Robert's father was John Raw. I have theories for this ancestry but no proof as yet.
Interested to have your thoughts
