Hi, Please can anyone help me in locating where any of the above properties are in the Gunnerside village & Swaledale area?

Welcome to the Gunnerside message board.

As a start, this multimap, of Low Row and Feetham shows three of your targets.

Drovers House lies south east of Feetham, across the river
Peatgate Head lies north east of Feetham
Green Sikes, although not mentioned on the map, lies to right of the text 'Low Row Pasture'. There is a 'tuning fork' of a river/stream and Green Sike is probably the uppermost property lying beside the right hand fork.

Skeugh Head is towards bottom right.
Crag Hall is not marked on the map: it is in Amgram, east of the road at the point where there is a telephone sign. The red dashed footpath line passes south of Crag Hall which is next to the road.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the names of Wills. I do have Aldersons & Metcalfes in my tree, but sadly I don't think any of these are mine.

By the way you don't happen to know where Hill Top, Gunnerside / Lodge Green was situated. In 1862 it was called Ings House, later changed to Hill Top. There were Alderson's living there for many years. I have been puzzling over this one for more than a year now.
