Gunnerside Oral History and Folklore - PSPP project

I am currently pulling together information on Gunnerside for the Private Spaces Public Places project which is running in the village. I would be very grateful if anybody has any stories relating to history or folklore, ghosts or simply tales handed down regarding the past of Gunnerside. We would like to record this kind of information as part of the appraisal of Gunnerside's character, the aspects of the village which the professional can't see and only the villagers have access to.
