Pratts & Aldersons

Hello everyone
I would love to hear from anyone who has Pratts or Aldersons in their family tree especially the following people;

John Pratt c1790 ? Muker married Elizabeth Alderson c1788 ? Muker.

Anthony Pratt c1826 ( son of the above) ? millbeck married Mary Ann Alderson c1825 ( daughter of James Alderson c1806 & Mary Emerson c1806 ? grinton.

I would also like to know if Eliz Alderson was related to Mary Ann Alderson other than through he being her daughter-in-law.

Hi Heather.

I have several Alderson connections on both my paternal and maternal trees.
Easter Alderson married Thomas Hunt, Jan 13 1721/22 in Muker.

Elizabeth Alderson, b Sept 11, 1803, Satronside , died 1825.
married John Pratt, Nov 13, 1813, With consent of parents.

Elizabeth was baptised Feb 4, 1804, Muker
Burial April 6, 1825, Muker.

This makes Elizabeth only 10 at the time of her marriage !

Dorothy Pratt (!862) married John Thomas Wiseman.

Elizabeth Pratt (1821) married Thomas Heslop.

Jonathan Pratt (1756) married Ann Heslop.

Mary Pratt (1792) married Simon Coates.

Michael Pratt (1838) married Mary Cherry.

Wm. Pratt (1752) married Elizabeth Heslop.


(All above from the Swaledale) and just one from Co. Durham:-

Raymond Pratt (1912) married Barbara Heslop.

I have also a Thomas Alderson (1818) maried to Mary Heslop.

James ALDERSON married Margaret MILNER in Muker 1641[Muker]
Elizabeth Alderson married John MILNER in Muker 1641 [ Muker]
Elizabeth ALDERSON married Edward MILNER in 1770 [Muker]
Mary ALDERSON married Christopher KEARTON in 1819 [Muker]
