aged 68 years
For 50 years he was a useful member of the Wesleyan Methodist Society
He's gone and the grave that receive'd him
t'was Jesus that called him away
He's gone to the Lord who redeeme'd him
from night to the splenduous day

Also of Phillis his wife
who departed this life
December 3rd 1826 aged 36 years
She was a member of the Wesleyan Church for 20 years

And of Ralph their son
who departed this life March 10th 1827
aged 6 months
