The annual puppy show of the Swaledale Harriers, of which Mr. A. B. Hudson is the Master, took place at Grinton on Wednesday. Mr. C. Marr (Richmond) and Mr. S. Cherry (Fremington) were the judges. The awards were :— Dogs: First, Merryman by Clamour, walked by Mr. Wm. Coates of Summer Lodge ; second, Butcher by Clamour, walked by Mr. L. Coates, of Low Row. Bitches : First, Countess by Clamour, walked by Mrs. Shaw, Gunnerside ; second, Clamour by Clamour, walked by Mr. James Pratt, of Smarber.
