| Gunnerside Fair was held on Friday, but owing to the rain the attendance was not large. There was a fairly good show of mountain-side sheep and lambs, but trade was slow. Lambs made various prices, from 5s to 10s 6d, and ewes from 8s to 15s per head. Mr M. Bell sold a number of beasts and sheep by auction. |
