FATAL FALL OVER MUKER BRIDGE.
Yesterday, Dr. Walton held an inquest at Muker on the body of George Kilburn (60), farmer. On Wednesday night, about ten o'clock , it appeared the deceased, with others, was going home from a parish meeting, and as he was crossing the bridge he suddenly disappeared. His companions went below the bridge, and found his dead body, death having been almost instantaneous. A verdict of "Accidentally killed," with a recommendation that the attention of the Richmond Highway Board should be called to the very dangerous state of the bridge.
