Do you recognize
the two "freaks" of nature? Is it not awful? All our
visitors have now gone. Willie would tell you some fine tales,
did he not? We had a ripping time. It has been cold to-day but
fine. Hope the sun will shine soon.

Your p.c. to
hand. I have not heard if there is a sale of Mr Chapman's things.
There is a very large sale at West Burton to-morrow (Wed). We
are having lovely weather but we have not got started cleaning
yet. Is it true M. M. Woodward is married soon?

We are having very nasty weather just now, though all the snow
has gone. Fred said he saw your mother coming down on the train
one day last week. Was it your grandmother who was with her?
